On 17/10/2026, the Director General of Police Manipur, Shri Mukesh Singh, IPS, inaugurated the newly established QR-coded e-Malkhana and Common Mess Hall at City Police Station. He was accompanied by Dr. I.K. Muivah, IPS, ADGP (HG/HR), and Shri Themthing Ngasangva, IPS, IGP (Zone-I).

The QR-coded e-Malkhana marks a significant step towards the digital modernisation of policing, enabling efficient tracking and management of case properties while enhancing transparency and accountability. The DGP appreciated the personnel for maintaining the facilities in a neat and orderly manner and emphasised further digital integration to improve operational efficiency and record management.

The initiative reflects Manipur Police’s continued commitment to technological advancement, improved infrastructure and efficient police administration.
