On 29.08.2026, a combined team of CDO Unit Kakching and 46 AR Kakching arrested an active cadre of KYKL, one Yumnam Rohenjit Meitei @ Akui (26) S/o Yumnam Ibomcha Meitei of Langmeidong Maning Mayai Leikai, Kakching District from his residence. His accomplice in extortion activities, namely Shakachand Yumnam @ Chand (26) S/o Yumnam Ibobi Singh of Langmeidong Mamang Leikai was also arrested from his residence at Langmeidong Mamang Leikai along with the following:

02 (two) Empty INSAS Magazine,
27 (twenty Seven) INSAS live rounds,
01 (one) BAOFENG handset,
02 (two) Slings,
01 (one) BP Jacket with 1 (one) single Plate,
01 (one) pair of Tactical boot, and
01 (one) Magazine pouch.
