On 25/08/2026, based on inputs regarding presence of insurgents in general area near Border Pillar No. 72, a search operation was launched by Chandel Police and 10 AR. During the operation, a PREPAK cadre along with INSAS rifle was apprehended:

Lemba Mutum (40) S/o Mr. Mani Meitei Mutum of Seijang village, Lamlai, Imphal East District.
