On 25/08/2026, during a cordon and search operation at Taphou Kuki and Taphou Liangmai, Senapati district by a combined team of Manipur Police, CoBRA Battalion, CRPF, Mahila Battalion, CRPF the following items were recovered:
i. 02 (two) SBBL guns.
ii. 78 (seventy-eight) numbers of 12-bore live rounds.
iii. ⁠11 (eleven) numbers of 12-bore empty cases.
iv. ⁠Empty cases of AK47 and .22 ammunition
v. 01 (one) 12-bore cartridge belt.
vi. 01 (one) set of charger.
vii. 05 (five) vehicle registration plates.
viii. 01 (one) empty steel military-surplus ammunition container.

Further, a total of 03 (Three) bunkers were destroyed, 02 (two) bunkers in Taphou Kuki and 01 (one) in Taphou Liangmai in the operation.
