Arms and Ammunition Recovered During Joint Search Operation in Kangpokpi

On 24.08.2026, during a cordon and search operation at J. Songtun Village, Kangpokpi by a combined team of Manipur Police, CRPF, RAF and CoBRA, the following were recovered/seized:
• 02 Nos of country-made 12-bore guns
• 14 Nos of 12-bore guns bearing various manufacturers/serial/licence markings
• 1,225 rounds of 12-bore ammunition
• 06 VHF/wireless sets + 03 chargers
• 01 Golden Antler telescope
• 18 Nos. BP vests + 01 pouch.
