As part of Community Outreach and Battalion Welfare Program, a One Day Health Camp in connection with World Breastfeeding Week, 2026 was organised today at the 9 IR (Mahila) Battalion Community Hall.

Four resource persons, who are leading doctors in the field of Paediatrics and Gynaecology and key office bearers of the Breastfeeding Promotion Alliance of Manipur (BPAM), delivered presentations on various benefits and aspects of breastfeeding and interacted with the participants.

A total of 140 women participated, including 60 women from Lairikyengbam Leikai locality and ASHA workers, and 80 women police personnel of all ranks of the Battalion.
