Illegal Distillery Destroyed in Churachandpur, 2,000 Litres of DIC Liquor Destroyed

On 13-08-2026, a joint operation comprising teams of Churachandpur District Police and CRPF, in coordination with local women CSOs was launched at T. Khajang Village and adjoining areas under Singhat-PS.
During the operation an illegal distillery was located and destroyed along with around 2,000 litres of DIC liquor.
Other recovery during the operation include:
- 19 Metal pots,
- 24 small drums, and
- 2 boxes of dry yeast.
