During an operation at Joupi and Khoirok villages, Kangpokpi District on 12/08/2026, joint teams of Manipur Police, CRPF, CoBRA and RAF recovered arms and ammunition and miscellaneous items including the following:

i) 01 (One) .22 rifle with magazine,
ii) 05 (Five) Single Barrel Guns,
iii) 04 (Four) Walkie Talkie sets,
iv) 06 (Six) Walkie Talkie chargers,
v) 158 (One Hundred Fifty Eight) 12 Bore cartridges,
vi) 06 (Six) empty cases.

Two residents of Joupi Village were also apprehended during the search operation:

1. Henminthang Haokip (31) and
2. ⁠Jamminlal Kipgen (25).
