On 1st August, 2026, Shri Mukesh Singh, IPS, DGP, Manipur accompanied by ADGP(L&O/AP/INT), visited the historic and oldest 134yrs old battalion of Manipur, the 1st Bn. Manipur Rifles, Imphal.

8IR(CDO) Battalion Organises Free Mental Health Camp at Khabeisoi

On 28.07.2026, as part of Community Policing Program, a one day free Mental Health Camp was organised by 8IR(CDO)Bn., Khabeisoi at the BHQ, Khabeisoi in collaboration with National Mental Health Programme under National Health Mission. The camp was conducted by unit Medical Officer and Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists of NMHP, DMHP I/E and Medical Directorate, Manipur.

Facilities like free distribution of medicine, free mental health check-up and free mental health counselling were given to 118 persons including civilians from the locality of Khabeisoi
