In continuation of an ongoing investigation of a FIR case under ND&PS Act registered at Churachandpur-PS, Manipur Police on 24.07.2026 arrested one Mrs. Zenngaihniang (56) of Gouchinkhup Veng, New Lamka, Churachandpur district.
A sum of Rs 28,78,400 suspected to be proceeds from drug-related crime was recovered. The arrestee is involved in sending huge amount of money to suspected beneficiaries of drug trade in Myanmar.
Five cash registers and a cash-counting machine were also recovered.
