A Homecoming Ceremony for 42 cadres of KCP (PWG) was held on 21 July 2026 at HQ IGAR (South), Mantripukhri, Imphal, where they laid down arms before the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh. A total of 28 weapons, including AK series rifles, RPGs, pistols and other war-like stores comprising grenades, IEDs, detonators, ammunition and wireless sets were surrendered. The cadres will be rehabilitated under the Government of India’s Revised Scheme for Surrender-cum-Rehabilitation of Militants in the North East States, 2018.
Combined efforts of Security Forces including Manipur Police, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, AR and Army are further continuing in this regard.
