On 15.07.2026, Manipur Police arrested 02 (two) residents of Khurai Lairikyengbam Awang Leikai, Imphal East district from their locality:
i) Sanjrambam Khunjaoba Meitei (54), and
Ii) Laishram Sonamani Meitei (53).
Inter alia, the following were seized from the residence of the latter:
i) 1 (one) .38 pistol,
ii) 2 (two) magazines and
iii)11 (eleven) live rounds ammunition of different calibers.
