On 12th August 2026, Manipur Police felicitated three distinguished sportspersons from Manipur who brought laurels to the State and the Nation by winning medals at the recently concluded Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
The athletes felicitated were:
- Shri Jadumani Singh Mandengbam – Silver Medal, Boxing (Men’s 55 Kg)
- Shri Chanambam Rishikanta Singh – Silver Medal, Weightlifting (Men’s 60 Kg)
- Smt. Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam – Bronze Medal, Weightlifting (Women’s 58 Kg)
