Brief of the work done | The brief fact of a good work done by Mao Police Station is that in order to help the common distress citizens specially the weary travelers passing through NH-2. Mao-PS has started a new innovation by providing Drinking Water (Mineral Water) and First Aid Medicines at Mao Gate (Border town with Nagaland State) w.e.f. 13/05/2015 till date. This step is being taken up in view of the problems faced by weary travellers/passengers standed at Mao Town in the midst of closure of shops and hotels due to frequent bandh and blockades called by different organisation in Manipur and other North Eastern States. Apart from doing normal duties sincerely Mao-PS police personnel have been helping the common citizens especially the weary travellers/passengers round the clock by dropping and escorting them to different destination during bandh hours along NH-2, with full dedication and devotion to the satisfaction of the senior officer. |

Brief of the work done | Ref: GD No. 7 & 8/KPI-PS/2015 dated 30/11/2015 two girls namely, (1) Sangeeta Thapa, 13 years D/o Chandra Bahadur Thapa of Paspati village and (2) Sushma Thapa, 16 years D/o Tarabir Thapa of Tokpa Nepali has been found missing since 0830 hrs. of 27/11/2015 and have not returned till 30/11/2015. Again Ref: GD No. 11 & 13/KPI-PS/2015 dated 01/12/2015, the above two missing girls were found out/recovered from the house of one Nepali located at Khatkhati, Assam. Further, the two girls expressed their willingness to travel outside the state by carrying ₹ 1000/- each which the same was saved during the previous Poojah without the knowledge of their respective parents. |

Brief of the work done | Ref : FIR No. 42(12)2015/KPI-PS, U/s 326/307/34 IPC, one unknown male later identified as Zuhar Saha, 55 years S/o Susman Saha of Dimapur Naga Cemetery Lake View Colony, Nagaland believed to be thrown out near the Kangpokpi bridge after being beaten by unknown person was lying unconscious on 04/12/2015. Immediately a police team of Kangpokpi-PS rush to the spot and evacuatedthe injured unconscious person to CHC, Kangpokpi & RIMS Hospital, Imphal for first aid and medical treatment and discharged on 09/12/2015 and handed over to his wife. Being a man of poverty, he could not pay back the bill of medicines and other technical fees. The Kangpokpi PS provided all the expenditure involved in the treatment in the tune of ₹ 25,000/- |
