| Brief of Good Work Done | On 12/07/2020 at about 01:00 p.m., a credible information received from source in that some unknown vehicle lifters are loitering in a Maruti Alto LXI Car in an around Lilong Chingjao area with an ulterior motive for selling/disposal of the stolen vehicles. Accordingly, a combined team of Lilong P.S. led by Inspector, Oinam Ajit Singh, OC LIL PS assisted by S.I. Kh. Santosh Singh, S.I. Md. Isha Khan and A.S.I. L. Tikendro Singh of Lilong P.S. along with members of ANJUMAN under the supervision of Dr. S. Ibomcha Singh. MPS, SP-Thoubal rushed to the area and conducted frisking and checking. During the frisking and checking, one Maruti Alto LXI car bearing registration No. MN05A-6996, silky silver in colour and one Royal Enficld, red in colour bearing registration No. MN01AE-0040, Chassis No. ME3U3S5C1JA247843, Engine No. U3S5C1JA264740 were found parked at the roadside of Lilong Chingjao in a suspicious manner. On checking, two persons were found inside the Maruti Alto car and they were identified themselves as (1) Md. Islao Rahaman @ Momocha (25 yrs.) S/o Abdul Hakim of Lilong Ilaoreibi Makha Leikai (2) Md. Mujid Khan (21 yrs.) S/o Mohammed Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai. On spot verification, they disclosed that they are vehicle lifters and also disclosed that the Alto car LXI belongs to Md. Islao Rahaman @ Momocha and the Royal Enfleld was a stolen vehicle and they were looking for a customer to sell out the Royal Enfield. They used the Alto LXI car bearing registration No. MN05A-6996 in stealing the Royal Enfield. They also disclosed that they had delivered one stolen Royal Enficld. gunmctal grey in colour bearing registration No. MN01AH-4492 to one Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin (43 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdul Hakim of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai. As such, Md. Islao Rahaman @ Momocha (25 yrs.) S/o Abdul Hakim of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai and Md. Mujid Khan (21 yrs.) S/o Mohammed Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai were arrested on the spot at 02:30 p.m. and also seized the Maruti Alto LXI, silky silver colour bearing registration No. MN05A-6996, Engine No. F8DN7768140 and Chassis No. MA3EYD81S00182442 and Royal Enfield, red in colour bearing registration No. MN01AE-0040, Chassis No. ME3U3S5C1JA247843, Engine No. U3S5C1JA264740 from the possession of Md. Islao Rahaman @ Momocha (25 yrs.) S/o Abdul Hakim of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai at 02:40 p.m. On follow up action, the combined team along with the arrested persons proceeded to the house of Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin (43 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdul Hakim of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai. On the way the said Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin was found at Lilong Haoreibi Turel Ahanbi Ubakthong as being identified by arrested person Md. Islao Rahaman @ Momocha (.) Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin was found standing along with two unknown persons who were later identified as Md. Illiyas (24 yrs.) S/o (L) Ayub Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai and Md. Shahbuddin @ Iboyai (55 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdur Rahaman of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai. The stolen Royal Enfield, gunmetal grey in colour bearing registration No. MN01AH-4492 was also found on the spot. On spot enquiry, Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin disclosed that he had received the said Royal Enfield through Md. Illiyas (24 yrs.) S/o (L) Ayub Khan of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai and Md. Shahbuddin @ Iboyai (55 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdur Rahaman of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai. Therefore, Md. Ziaur Rahaman @ Yaima @ Sirajuddin (43 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdul Hakim of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai, Md. Illiyas (24 yrs.) S/o (L) Ayub Khan of Lilong llaoreibi Makha Leikai and Md. Shahbuddin @ Iboyai (55 yrs.) S/o (L) Md. Abdur Rahaman of Lilong Hnoreibi Makha Leikai were also arrested on the spot at 03:40 p.m. and also seized the Royal Enfield, gunmetal grey in colour bearing registration No. MN01AH-4492, Chassis No. ME3U3S5C2KG586162 and I-ngine No. U3S5C2KG572009 on the spot at 03:50 p.m. Hence the case. |
