| Brief of the work done | On 23/06/2020 at about 9.30 a.m a team of CDO/ TBL conducted patrolling and random checking at Khangabok area, In that, one unknown person was found standing at Khangabok Bazar near waiting shed in a very suspicious manner. Due to his suspicious nature he was detained for verification. On preliminary verification, the individual identified himself as Moirrangthem Sobachandra Singh @ Nepolian (28) S/o M. Sanatomba Singh of Khangabok Part-III Makha Leikai, a member of RPF/PLA. On further questioning, the accused person disclosed that he joined RPF/PLA in 21st April, 2007 through one Thoi, S/S Sergent of RPF/PLA and got 25 days basic military training at 252 Bn. Myanmar of 2008 batch under Army No.3048. |

| Brief of the work done | On 10/06/2020 at about 3.20 pm, received a specific information that one stolen car was kept concealed at the house of Aribam Faruk Khan of Sangaiyumpham Pulleipokpi Part -I near Salam Macha. Acting on the information, a team of SDO/TBL immediately ruched to the said house and conducted house search in which one Bolero car dark blue in colour without registration number bearing Chasis No. MA3EWB22SKA629247 and engine No. K12MN4517395 suspected to be stolen one was recovered form the house of the accused person, Aribam Faruk Khan of Sangaiyumpham Pulleipokpi Part -I near Salam Macha. As such, the recovered Baleno Car was seized and arrested the accused person by observing necessary formalities. |

| Brief of the work done | On 10/06/2020 at around 4.30 PM, a report was received that one Birendra Saha (40 yrs) S/o Khilawan Saha of Bihar A/P Thangal Bazar near Kasturi Bridge and one Sanjoy Patel (40 yrs) S/o Aijun Choudhmy of Bihar A/P Sani Mandir Thanyal Bazar were kidnapped by some unknown persons since 09/06/2020 and demanded a ransom of Rs, 50,00,000,- (Rupees Fifty lakhs) by using the victims mobile number 7085951662. The kidnappers also told to come al Charangpat under Thoubal P.S. with the ransom money. A case FIR No. 84(6)2020 TBL PS U/s 3G4-A/36S/120-H LPC has been registered at Thoubal Police Station for taking necessary legal action. Acting on the complaint report, combined teams* of thoubal District Police comprising of Women Police Constables, District Intel licence Branch (DIB) Thoubal and Cyber Crime Unit, DHQ thoubul led by Sachidananda Soibam, MPS AddL SP(Ops) Thoubal, Insp. N. Sadananda Singh, OC-CDO Thoubal under the command of Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District launched an operation to rescue the kidnapped persons. During the operation, an intelligence input was received that the ransom amount is going to hand over at Yairipok Lamkhai, Thoubal and the kidnappers would come by one Bolero Jeep bearing regd. No, MN07D-2973 white in colour. A team of Cyber Crime Unit, DEIQ Thoubal was deployed at Charangpat area to find the vehicle's movement. All the teams were kept ready for rescuing the kidnapped persons and to arrest the kidnuppers. On 11/6/2020 at around 11-42 a.m., one Bolero Jeep bearing regd. No. MN07D-2973 white in colour was located at Charangpat Mamang Leikai and the vehicle was followed by the team and observed its movement. Later on, the said vehicle was driving around line Thoubal wangmataba and returned towards Yairipuk lamkhai. The Bolero Jeep was chased by the police teams and intercepted at Yairipok Lnmklmi. During the search, two female occupants and one male driver were found inside the vehicle. On questioning the two female occupants and the driver, they admitted that they are coining for collecting the ransom money for the kidnapped persons as instructed by Kangabam Jadumami Singh (50 yrs) s/o K Dwijamani @ Tejamani Singh of Charangpat Mamang Leikei. On further questioning they disclosed thai the kidnapped persons have been kept concealed at the house of Kangabam Jadumani Singh. Immediately, teams of CDO Unit Thoubal led by Insp. N. Sadananda Singh OC-CDO Thoubal along with a team of Thoubal PS rused to the spot and rescued the kidnapped persons. The kidnappers are arrested and one .32 pistol was recovered along with one magazine & 5 live rounds. The arrested persons and recovered items have been handed over to thoubal PS for further necessary action. The details of the arrested accused persons; 1. Kangaham Jadumani Shigh (50 yrs) S/o K Dijamani @ Tejamani Singh of Charangpat Mamang Leikai, 2. Ningthoujam Romajit Singh (35 yrs) S/o N. Khomdon Singh of Bengi Makha Lcikai 3. Thiyarm Joyshree Devi (45 yrs W/o (L) Heisnam Robin Singh of Heirangoithong bazar, Imphal West and 4.Nahakpam Mem Devi (49 y rs W/o N, Narjit Singlh of Charangpat Maning Lcikai |
