On 05.08.2026, security forces arrested a s/s Army Chief of UKNA HMAR, one RC Singson from Old Gelmol Village under Churachandpur-PS, Churachandpur district.
At his instance, the following were recovered from the forest of Thingchawm Village, Churachandpur:
i) 01 (one) AK 47 Rifle along with Magazine,
ii) 01 (one) 9mm Pistol along with Magazine,
iii) 03 (three) IEDs, and
iv) 02 (two) Baofeng Radio sets.
