On 24.09.2026, based on reliable input, a joint team of CDO/Imphal East and Security Forces conducted a search operation at Seijang Cheirao Ching foothills, under Yaingangpokpi-PS, Imphal East District.

The team recovered the following:

i. 06 (six) 12-bore guns (including four locally made),
ii. 01 (one) 9 mm pistol along with magazine,
iii. 02 (two) No. 36 hand grenades,
iv. 02 (two) 2-inch mortar shells and one 51 mm mortar shell,
v. 18 live rounds of different calibers,
vi. 178 empty cases of various calibres,
vii. 06 (six) EMULDYNE explosives and 03 (three) explosive primers,
viii. Two detonators with wire, seven arming rings and other grenade components.
