During an operation on 11-09-2026 in the general area of Munpi Village, Henglep Sub-Division, Churachandpur, a combined team of Churachandpur District Police and 5 Asaam Rifles arrested three armed cadres:
i). Khual (35) S/o Songneilal of Munpi Village, Henglep Sub-Division, Churachandpur,
ii). Money Chiru (30) S/o Jonathan Chiru of of Nungrai Village, Bishnupur District, and
iii). Thanglalmuan (25) S/o Kamneilun of Nghathal Village, Churachandpur District.

Inter alia, the following were recovered:
(i). 01 (one) 7. 62 mm HKG 3 Assault Rifle
(ii). 01 (one) 5.56mm A1 Assault Rifle
(iii). 01 (one) 5.56mm M22 Assault Rifle
(iv). 02 (two) 7.62mm AK 47 Rifles
(v). 07 (seven) Magazines of different arms
(vi). 298 (two hundred ninety eight) ammunition rounds of different calibres
(vii). 05 (five) Tactical Pouches.
