As part of the year-long observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026, a One-Day Free Health Camp was organised by 5th India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Chingarel, in association with Medilane Foundation, at the Battalion Headquarters, Chingarel on 10.08.2026.
The health camp was organised as part of the Battalion’s ongoing community outreach initiatives, with the objective of promoting health awareness and facilitating access to basic healthcare services for personnel as well as the local community.
More than 100 individuals, including residents from the surrounding areas, participated in the camp and availed themselves of the free medical services. The camp included cataract screening and eye check-ups, dental check-ups, and screening for blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Participants were also provided with necessary health advice and guidance based on the screening results.
