On 02.08.2026, Manipur Police recovered from Ekok Pat near Arong river bank under Thoubal-PS, Thoubal district, a cache of arms and ammunition including the following:
i. 02 (two) INSAS Rifles,
ii. 01 (one) MP-5 sub machine gun,
iii. 01 (one) SLR Rifle,
iv. 02 (two) .303 Rifles,
v. 08 (eight) Magazines,
vi. 01 (one) smoke bomb, and
viii. 379 (three hundred seventy nine) live rounds ammunition of different calibers.
