Security Forces Arrest Four, Recover Firearms and Communication Equipment During Operation in Ukhrul

On 14.07.2026, during an operation based on specific input at TM Kasom and Sikibung villages, Ukhrul district, security forces arrested four residents of Sikibung Village:
i) Wungphayo Kasar (24),
ii) Ninglum Awungshi (26),
iii) Lunglen Yaoreingam (21) and
iv) Vareiyo Lunglen (57).
Two SBBL guns, live SBBL cartridges and a wireless communication set were seized from them.
