Intelligence based combing, cordon and search operations are being carried out extensively to nab those involved in extortion and criminal activities in the state. On 14^th July, 2026, security forces arrested one Sanasam Ibocha @ Abocha Singh (42) of Uyumpok Mamang Leikai under Sagolmang-PS, Imphal East district from his residence along with an AK-56 rifle, a .32 pistol with magazine, and 27 rounds of AK-56 live ammunition.
