On 30-09-2026, Based on intelligence input, a combined team of Chandel Police and Assam Rifles launched a search operation in general area under Molcham PS. During the search, a hidden cache of arms and ammunition was recovered as detailed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

i) Three (03) SBML (Single Barrel Muzzle Loading) Guns
ii) One (01) Pompi
iii) One (01) Chinese Grenade
iv) One (01) Local Made Grenade
v) Four (04) Dummy Mortars
vi) Four (04) Detonators
vii) Two (02) Delay Fuses
viii) One (01) Container containing 9 pieces of wire suspected to be used in IED
ix) Eight (08) Pouches
x) One (01) Baofeng Set
xi) One (01) 5.56 mm M416 Round
xii) One (01) 9 mm Round
xiii) Two (02) Bullet Proof Covers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
