| Brief of the work done<\/td> | On 15\/08\/2016 at 07:30 p.m., Jemadar N. Nungsibabu Singh of 7th IRB now attached with CDO\/IE reported with OC Porompat PS stating that on the same day at about 11:50 a.m. a team of CDO\/IE launched an intensive search operation by cordoning some of the suspected houses in and around the Eastern Ground, Palace Compound. In fact that a suspected person was detailed for verification at his residence and identified himself as Thounaojam Yaisana Singh, 34 years S\/o (L) Th. Mani Singh of Palace Compound. On the further verification, it came to light that he is a habitual offender\/gang and recently he along with one of his associate namely Chaoba of Nongmeibung Old Checkon Bazar, made a monetary demand to a person by threatening through mobile phone. So, the detainee was arrested from his residence and seized one mobile phone along with two SIM cards from his possession. The CDO\/IE team along with the arrestee rushed to the residence of his associate at Nongmeibung Old Checkon Bazar and on his pointing arrested Ningthoujam Chaoba Meitei @ Lucky, 33 years S\/o N. Manglem Meitei from his residence and seized one mobile phone along with two SIM cards from his possession. Hence the case and investigated into.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n |
